A Little About My Journey With Meditation

I began my meditation journey just like everyone else. I found it hard and had the mindset that it just wasn’t for me. As I began my Reiki training journey, I joined online meditations and circles and found my experiences to be quite mind blowing and the benefits of meditation astounding. As an A-type personality I would always worry about the small stuff, the “what-ifs” and had a lot of anxiety about every day tasks. As a child I would literally make myself sick from anxiety. All my stomach issues as a child that the doctors couldn’t figure out all stemmed from stress and anxiety!

The more I meditated and went within, the more I could adapt and understand where my anxieties were coming from. I learned what my triggers were and how to work with them rather than against them. This has also been an amazing tool with my child as they have the exact same personality as I do. We meditate every night before bed or do breathing exercises when we get worked up. How amazing is it that simple meditation practices can change your whole perspective on life?

As my passion for meditation grew I found that I wanted to dive deeper into my training and start guiding and teaching meditation. I studied meditation under two reputable training facilities and have earned my meditation teacher training certification through both.

Through the use of meditation you can learn to cope with your everyday stresses and anxieties, leaving you with a feeling of clear headedness and a sense of calm.

I often host group meditation circles and yearly intention setting circles. This is a great way for you to learn how to meditate and to be among like minded people.

The great thing about mediation is that it’s for everyone!
